He's very personable and passionate about not only you catching fish, but more importantly having fun. He knows what he's doing and does it better than anyone I have ever seen in the job. My son and I took a trip to Marco Island on May 8-10 and could not have had more fun with Dan. Outstanding and experienced fisherman! His experience made our vacation by far the best fishing trip I have ever made in 35 years of fishing. Thank you Captain Chas for an excellent morning out.I have been fishing all over the country and Captain Dan on the Miss Louise II in Marco Island is by far the best guide I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with.
His priority was to make sure we had a good time and caught fish. Out captain did NOT solicit or pander to us for a review. Of note, I am aware some of the captains solicit for reviews. Just a nice guy who knows how to fish and is willing to share that knowledge to make sure you have a nice experience. If we went out again, we would want captain Chas. Our captain had a really easy going personality, had more than enough knowledge about where and how to fish for different target species, and had a great sense of humor. On our way back in we stopped at a dock and pulled in a few more snapper to limit us out. No luck, so another new spot for sea trout, snapper, and even a little snook. We went to a new spot and tried for some redfish. That was alright, we got to drop off a few of our group who made a little extra chum. We actually had to go get more bait as the bite was strong we were usuing shrimp like they were going out of style. Captain was knowledgeable and very patient with us, in spite of our over zealous hook setting! I like that he had scouted for us and found a great spot to catch some snapper and sheepshead. We went out the morning of June 11 with captain Chas.
